Now Introducing E028 Splash – Grape, Tropical Fruit and Orange-Pineapple (original flavor)
Dear Healthcare Professional:
Starting November 16, 2006 Nutricia North America, formerly SHS North America, will begin distributing two additional flavors of E028 Splash, formerly Pediatric E028. Nutricia will continue providing our great tasting orange-pineapple flavor along with new grape and new tropical fruit flavors.
E028 Splash is the first and only ready-to-feed amino acid-based medical food for children with
impairment of the gastrointestinal tract. Other indications include:
- Eosinophilic esophagitis
- Short bowel syndrome
- Gastroesophageal reflux disease
- Other medical conditions requiring an amino acid-based diet
In addition to the two great new flavors, the name and packaging graphics have changed. Our patients
told us they wanted Pediatric E028 to look more like juice box products enjoyed by other children.
Responding to this request, we have changed the name of the product to E028 Splash and made the
package graphics more consumer friendly.
Please note codes (e.g. reimbursement, HCPCS, etc.) have not changed. Pricing and case size will also remain the same. Below is pertinent information regarding E028 Splash:
